Full-Time School Social Worker / Mental Health Clinician (Brooklyn, NY)

IVDU Boys Upper School is seeking an experienced, compassionate mental health clinician to join our collaborative multidisciplinary team. We serve teen boys with high-functioning autism and learning disabilities through an individualized, strengths-based approach that helps students build confidence, independence, and the skills they need for life.
Responsibilities
• Provide individual and group school-based counseling using evidence-based approaches, including CBT and autism-informed interventions
• Support students’ social-emotional growth, emotional regulation, and executive functioning skills
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and related service providers as part of a highly supportive multidisciplinary team
• Coordinate services and communicate effectively with families and outside providers
• Provide behavioral consultation and classroom support to help students succeed throughout the school day
Qualifications
• Experience working with adolescents
• Experience with autism spectrum disorders and/or learning disabilities preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to work collaboratively while building meaningful relationships with students
